Recession friendly £1 face cream to hit British shelves soon

Recession friendly £1 face cream to hit British shelves soon

London, August 12 : A recession friendly face cream priced at only 1 pound is set to hit the British shelves next week.

The moisturiser, the cheapest one at Superdrug, apparently comes in a basic 150ml white plastic pot with a choice of camomile or fragrance-free formulas.

Superdrug's Joanna Hutton believes many women will drop fancy face creams in favour of a pocket friendly product.

"Women are getting savvier. Using the correct skin care doesn't have to mean spending hundreds of pounds on the latest technology," The Daily Express quoted her as saying.

"When women spend over 100 pounds on a moisturiser, up to 20 pounds of that price can be for the fancy packaging, celebrity advertising campaign and golden lids - in these thrift-conscious times we think it's far more chic to spend money where it matters, on the product," she added.

Bevis Man, of the British Skin Foundation charity, said: "With moisturisers, simple products that cost less can often work just as well as more expensive counterparts."

Face cream for women

Certified Organic Anti-Aging Face Cream (for Women)

Ingredients
:
Organic shea butter, organic rosehip seed oil, vitamin E.
That's it... No "Bad" Stuff!

Certification:
100% USDA Certified Organic by UDAF

Benefits: 100% organic, contains no water, contains no chemicals or estrogen mimickers, fights aging skin, great for sensitive skin, good value-- a little bit goes a long way, can last 1 to 4 months depending on use, vegan, no animal testing, gluten-free.

Description: Hey ladies! You want to look and feel your best, so why use those chemical-laden, synthetic face creams? Try our Certified Organic Women's Anti-Aging Face Cream and get some real love for your skin-- none of that harmful fake stuff. With just three simple, powerful ingredients, this face cream fights wrinkles, heals and replenishes dry skin so you can look and feel fresh-faced, lifted and beautiful. Hard to believe? Believe it-- we'll tell you how it works:

Organic Shea Butter is packed with Vitamins A, E and F and has been used to protect and beautify skin for hundreds of years. Vitamins A and E help to soothe, hydrate, and balance the skin and also provide skin collagen which helps with wrinkles and other signs of aging. Vitamin F contains essential fatty acids and helps protect and revitalize damaged skin. And we use only the purest shea butter that has not been chemically refined or bleached. It has just gone through a mild purification process whereby a natural clay draws out any impurities in the butter. That way, we're giving you a high-quality butter that retains its natural properties but without the risk of impurities.

Organic Rosehip Seed Oil is an amazing facial oil also high in Vitamin F, A, and E. Rosehip seed oil is not an essential oil, but a vegetable oil that has been used by the native people of Chile for hundreds of years. Recent studies have proven it to reduce and prevent wrinkles, scarring, age spots, and to help skin retain a healthy glow. This oil comes from wild roses that are grown in the Chilean mountains. After the rose blossoms, the petals fall off and leave the rose hip. This rose hip is fully of tiny seeds. Those seeds are cold-pressed and the oil is extracted.

Vitamin E has long been known for its anti-aging properties. We add it to our formula for this purpose, and to increase the shelf-life of the product. This is natural vitamin E, not tocopherol acetate. It is guaranteed to be free from GMOs and is vacuum distilled, not processed with solvents, so there is no risk of hydroquinone contamination.

Directions:
1. Apply a small amount to face, rub in. A little bit goes a very long way, so no need to slather it on like a water-based lotion.
2. Re-apply as needed to dry spots that need extra moisture.
3. Use as a day cream or night cream.

You can read the testimonials or just give it a try!

There is a men's and a women's version of this product. They are identical products, only the packaging is different.

Shelf Life: 12 months after date of purchase.

Size: 2 oz

Allergen Note:
May not be appropriate for people with nut allergies, as shea butter comes from shea nuts.

For Your Consideration: During the warmer months, this product may melt during transit, and lose its whipped nature. We fill every jar to the very top; if it appears that it's not completely full, it is because the product has melted and resolidified. You will find that it's plenty of product, though, because a little bit goes a long way.

Recipe For White Nails

White Nails

To whiten your nails, try these:

* Use a common whitening toothpaste. Try scrubbing your nails with Pearl Drops, it's just as easy as achieving a pearly white smile and will take away any stains and shine up your nails.

* Soak your nails in water with lemon juice or lemon slices. The lemon acts as an astringent and will strip away stains. Once your hands are dry, you'll only need to put on a couple of coats of a clear topcoat.

Treatment for Dark Under Eye Circles

Grated potatoes can lighten under-eye circles. Potatoes contain an enzyme called catecholase, which is used in cosmetics as a human skin lightener.

Run one spud through your food processor and stuff the raw mash into a piece of cheesecloth.
Apply to the area directly beneath your eye , don't let the potato juice come in contact with the eye itself , and leave for 15 to 20 minutes.

Make Face Masks For All Skin Types At Home

Homemade 'Cat Litter' Mask for All Skin Types:

We got this recipe off a TV show years ago. The beauty expert (Diane Irons, the author of several beauty books) swore cat litter is made of the same ingredients as special clays found in $100 spa facials. We tried this and loved it.

Ingredients:•1 bag cat litter (must be marked '100 Percent Natural Clay')
•Water
•Drops of your favorite essential oil
Preparation:
Mix in a couple tablespoons of the cat litter with water and drops of oil (we find the oil helps make the experience somehow less kitty litter-ish)
Apply mask to face
Wash off after 15 minutes.

Hilary Duff's blonde hair is 2009 hair color trend

Spring is in the air and it’s time you woke up from your winter style hibernation and shone! Take off coats, hats, beanies, scarves, berets or whatever you were wearing all winter long and show off your beautiful healthy hair. You already know about main hair cut trends for 2009 and now it’s time you found out the hair colors to rule this year!

2009 hair color trends

Well, there’s not much new stuff to think of. Generally, traditional hair colors remain dominant with slight changes added to make this year’s hair color trends different from the previous one’s, you know what I mean.

So, the main hair color trends 2009 are:

Carrie Underwood's natural blonde hair color is a huge hair color trend in 2009

Blonde is always hot. Blonde is chic and glam. Blonde is too multifaceted a color to make you look plain and like everyone else around. There can never be two identical blondes. Especially in 2009. Natural blonde is hot this year.

When you want to make it fancy, add rich highlights and lowlights, play with the contrast and shades of color.

Ashlee Simpson's red hair color is a huge hair color trend in 2009

The red color rocks this year. It’s a hot color trend, though you must be careful with it as it’s not always flattering. Warm shades of red are huge in 2009. Golden highlights on the top are very cute and very stylish.

And again, don’t get simply plain red. Play with contract and shades, intensity of color and accents. Besides, the “traditional” red, there are several shades you can opt for – strawberry blonde, copper brown, burgundy or auburn.

Sarah Michelle Gellar's brunette hair color is a huge hair color trend in 2009

Always in vogue, brunette will get simple in 2009. Make sure you have your brunette hair look as natural as possible. 2009 is not about black, bright or stripy highlights, sorry.

Think the classic brunette shade. However, absence of highlights doesn’t mean you can’t improve the color by adding darker shades to make it look deep and carefully groomed.

Selena Gomez's dark brown hair color is a huge hair color trend in 2009

If you think you want something darker than just brunette but not as deep as ebony then your perfect choice is dark brown. Think chocolate. Like the color? Being hot in 2009, dark brown can make you look really beautiful, and what’s important, it’s good for almost any complexion.

This hair color is very strong in 2009. If you have a fair skin, you’re sure to look vamp. But be careful with make up and outfits you wear in order not to look glum and tired. Generally, black is what you need to impress and turn heads anywhere you go!

Get your color, think about you style, and get your perfect look in 2009! Remember you’re beautiful, hot and head-to-toe perfect! As for hair color, you can always change it if you want. Hair color is just another accessory you have, make sure you wear it right!
